Artist Information
Quote provided by the artist

"For both profit and fun I create native outfits for myself and others. I have been doing this all my life. I work with the leather from the time it is a fresh kill to a complete project such as a belt or a hide for moccasins. I also bead in various styles such as lazy stitch, straight stitch, peyote stitch, or even loom work. I create fans for every occasion working with feathers and thread. If ordered I will do the job including sewing men and women's outfits by hand or machine. Each project is one of a kind. I have learned the art of making head roaches, and drums are my specialty.

My family has passed on this learning by demonstration from the elders down to the children. I have set up tables at local fairs and schools so I can show all ages and teach at all levels."
