Denise learned the art of creating star quilts from her grandma. Friends showed her strip quilting techniques and she picked up everything else on her own.
Denise has demonstrated her talents for area youth, teaching them how to make baby star quilts. She is proud to have been awarded the Microenterprise Entrepreneur of the Year from Four Bands Community Fund on the Cheyenne River Reservation.
