Evelyn has presented her work at the Wazi Paha Oyate Festival sponsored by Oglala Lakota College, Pine Ridge High School's Lakota Cultural Classes, and at the Journey Museum in Rapid City, SD.
She learned the techniques of beading and quillwork from her mother, Sophie New Holy.
